CHEM-SURE peristaltic pump tubes far outlast other fluoroelastomer tubing when pumping aggressive chemicals (600 RPM, 1/8" tube bore).
Manufacturers recommend tubes that have less than 10 percent volume swell for acceptable operation in peristaltic pumps in chemical service. While other fluoroelastomer tubing will swell more than 300 percent when subjected to solvents, ASTM D471-95 immersion tests show that these pump tubes experience negligible swelling in a wide range of solvents.
Swelling tests clearly show that CHEM-SURE peristaltic pump tubes are superior to other fluoroelastomer tubing (all immersion tests performed at room temperature for 170 hours).
